company has reportedly added a new member to the flagship S series: the Galaxy S25 Slim, an ultra-slim powerhouse. The inclusion of this new variant gains
further credence from an upcoming Unpacked event post showcasing four devices,
presumably alongside the existing Galaxy S25 family.

AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The size of the S25 Slim is rumored to be same as the Galaxy S25+. This new version is considered the
ultra-thin model, with a thickness is 6.4mm. But along with this
slim design, the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to feature an S25 Ultra-level camera.
This news gained traction when popular tipster Ice Universe highlighted it.
Details suggest the main camera is likely to be the same as the S25 Ultra’s
200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor (which is yet to be officially announced). Ultra-wide
and telephoto cameras are also likely, along with a 50MP sensor offering 3.5x
optical zoom.
In terms of power, the Slim is expected to fall somewhere
between its siblings, the S25 and S25 Ultra. The Slim is expected to be a
powerful device despite its thinness, packing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite
chipset—Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful offering—which is likely to be
introduced across the entire S25 family.
Because of its thinness, a new silicon-carbon battery is
expected—thinner but without compromising capacity. With this new technology,
the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery. This is good
news for those seeking a complete powerhouse with a large battery in a slim
form factor. If the rumors are true, other features include IP68 dust and water
resistance, a fingerprint sensor, and satellite connectivity (a feature
frequently demanded by Samsung fans).
Price and Release Date
The entire Samsung Galaxy S25 series is reportedly priced
higher than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24. The S25 Slim will be cheaper than
the Ultra model but slightly more expensive than the S25+ model. This pricing
strategy aligns with the rumored specs, as the Slim model’s specifications are
closer to those of the S25 Ultra.
Now, the key question is: When will we be able to experience
this slim model firsthand? Alongside previous reports, a new tip from
well-known and trusted tipster Setsuna Digital suggests we’ll need to wait a
little longer, as the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch sometime in Q2
2025, possibly in May. This raises the question: What is the fourth model in
the Galaxy Unpacked event poster? The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be that
model, but it appears Samsung will announce and tease the S25 Slim, similar to
how they previewed the Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked 2024 event.
