October is shaping up to be an exciting month for Apple fans. Just two weeks after unveiling the powerful new iPad mini with the A17 Pro chip, Apple seems poised to take its commitment to innovative devices to the next level.
Mark your calendars, Apple fans! This isn’t a drill. After months of rumors and speculation, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Greg Joswiak, just dropped a bombshell on Twitter. Buckle up because a “week of exciting announcements” is upon us, starting Monday morning, making it’s clear that the tech giant has plenty more in store.
While whispers of a dedicated October event faded, Joswiak’s playful tweet, “Mac (😉) your calendars,” hints at a major Mac refresh on the horizon. This news comes as no surprise to industry insiders like Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who’s been buzzing about the imminent arrival of M4-powered Macs.

The M4 chip, unveiled alongside the new iPad Pros in May, is a powerhouse waiting to be unleashed on Apple’s desktop and laptop lineup. Early predictions suggest a feast of M4-equipped Macs, including:
- A budget-friendly 14-inch MacBook Pro: Music to the ears of price-conscious creatives!
- High-performance 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros: For those pushing the boundaries of design and development.
- A revamped iMac: Could this be the sleek, redesigned model we’ve been waiting for?
- A new Mac Mini: Potentially boasting a compact, Apple TV-inspired design.
Expected Features:
- MacBook Pro: As we reported the leaked video by Russian Youtuber, shows that MacBook Pro is equipped with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, a substantial upgrade from the 8-core CPU found in the M3 MacBook Pro. This increase in cores is expected to translate to improved multitasking capabilities and enhanced performance for demanding tasks.
- Mac mini: The Mac mini is rumored to be smaller, closer in size to the Apple TV, with a slight increase in thickness. All entry-level models of iMac, entry-level Mac mini, and entry-level MacBook Pro are expected to start with 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB, providing better performance for Apple Intelligence features.
Stay tuned for in-depth coverage as the week unfolds! We’ll be dissecting every announcement, from the specs of the new M4 Macs to potential design changes and pricing details. Get ready, Apple enthusiasts, because the future of Mac computing is about to be unveiled!
