Unpacked 2024 Leaks: Watch 7, Ultra & Buds Designs Revealed

With just two weeks to go
before Samsung’s Unpacked event in Paris on July 10th, the rumor mill is churning in high gear. Prolific leakster Evan Blass has shared a set of
high-resolution renders that seemingly confirm the designs of the upcoming
Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Buds 3.
These
renders give us our clearest look yet at Samsung’s next generation of wearables. Let’s break down the details:

- Galaxy
Watch 7 and Watch Ultra The most interesting revelation is the introduction of a new
“Watch Ultra” model alongside the standard Watch 7. The Watch Ultra sports a bulky, squarish design with a prominent ridge that looks similar
to Apple’s Watch Ultra. It also ditches the traditional
spring-loaded band connection for a mechanism that appears more akin to Apple’s
watches. The Watch 7, on the other hand, retains the familiar circular form
factor of previous Galaxy Watches, but with slimmer bezels and a new
olive green color option.

- Galaxy
Buds 3: As previously reported, the Galaxy Buds 3 appear to be
getting a significant design overhaul. The biggest change is the addition
of stems, making them look more like Apple’s
AirPods. This design shift could improve
microphone placement for clearer calls, but it may not be for everyone. The renders also show the Buds 3 with a variety of color
options, including black and white.
Beyond wearables, rumors
suggest that Samsung’s next Unpacked event will also be the stage for the
unveiling of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 foldable phones.
While Blass’ leaks haven’t included these devices, whispers about design
improvements and upgraded internals have been swirling for months.
But the leaks don’t stop there. Samsung may also be planning to introduce the Galaxy Ring, a brand new wearable category for the company. This intriguing device, first teased in January’s Unpacked event, is rumored to track heart rate, movement, and breathing to help users monitor sleep and potentially even fertility. The Galaxy Ring is expected to pair with a Galaxy Watch, offering a more comprehensive health data picture when used together.
It’s important to remember that
these are just leaks, and Samsung may still make changes
to the final designs of its wearables before they are officially unveiled. However, these renders offer a strong
indication of what to expect from Samsung’s next generation of Galaxy watches
